10 Best IKEA Hacks You'll Want to Copy!

Updated: Sep 13, 2018

Look, I know IKEA! Like the back of my hands! In my humble opinion, it's an incredible source for reasonably priced and trendy furniture. Its affordability also means that I spot the same furniture practically everywhere I go.

Or so I thought .. welcome to the world of "IKEA Hackers".

Folks, we have Jules Yap to thank for making all these awesome "IKEA Hacks" available in one place. Back in May 2006, she was doing a little search on "IKEA Hacks" and realized that there were just so many amazing Hacks floating around the Internet. She thought wouldn't it be great to have them all in one spot? So that's how "IKEA Hackers" came to life in the form of a website. Searching for that all important Hacks suddenly became easier.

I for one couldn't be happier with the fantastic website because I am officially hooked on "IKEA Hacks." You can take the most basic of pieces, add your DIY touch to customize the product and create a virtually new product which is unique to you. Once complete that product or piece of furniture has been "Hacked."

I’ve scoured the web for, what I consider to be, the best "IKEA Hacks." Hacks so inventive, so metamorphic, that even this superfan was impressed. Here are ten jaw-dropping hacks you won't believe are IKEA.

Honestly I wish I had seen this hack a few years back. I would likely still own these stools.

Hey I have this mirror. I think I have another project to add to the To-Do List!

I love this transformation. This Hack really does look hi-end.

Creative! Colorful! And a great space saving desk.

What a stunning transformation. I really believe the piece of marble adds to that one-of-a kind feeling.

That's what my office is missing - a Library Ladder. I am loving the moulding and trim. These bookcases now have that built-in look.

Like Games? Got Kids? What an ingenious Hack.

Seriously! I could see myself using this as a makeup table. Or maybe at the entrance to the flat.

Now how do you like that? Clever! Clever! CLever! Great kitchen Island / room divider.

And last but not least, a Hacker after my own heart. Oh boy another project.
